Dimensions:
When considering which washing machines, tumble dryers, washer dryers or other domestic laundry appliances to buy, ensure that you have noted the dimensions of the space you have available.
Space:
If you are strapped for space, consider one of the washer dryers listed instead of a washing machine and tumble dryer. A single appliance could also save you money as well as space.
Water supply:
Washing machines also vary with regards to plumbing. Some feed only on cold water. Others have both a hot and cold inlet. If you are replacing a washing machine with only a cold inlet you should check your plumbing prior to purchasing a washing machine which requires both hot and cold inlets.
Ventilation:
Tumble dryers typically need to vent hot humid air. If you are unable to provide a suitable vent whole to the exterior of your laundry room, consider a condensing tumble dryer which you can drain off manually.
